drift trike variable traction

Project/Fabrication

Building a Variable Traction Motorized Drift Trike - part 1

Designing in CAD, and then beginning to build the Variable Traction Drift Trike

Drift trike has 4 wheels on the rear axle, 2 rubber and 2 with plastic sleeves.
All 4 wheels are driven, but can move up and down independently of each other.
By pulling a lever you can vary the weight between the rubber and plastic wheels,
which varies the traction, giving the trike the ability to accelerate and brake
quickly as well as slide around corners.
